What To Do In KL
Sample some local flavour with Nasi Lemak
Nasi Lemak is fragrant rice traditionally cooked in coconut milk and screwpine (pandan) leaves served with spicy sambal, cucumbers, fried anchovies, egg and fried groundnuts. It is best paired with a glass of piping hot teh tarik. Most shops or stalls will have other choices of add-ons such as chicken or beef rendang, fried chicken, prawn sambal and many more.

As well as permanent exhibits in the museum, there are also temporary exhibits that rotate during the year and are situated in the Central Hall.
Take A Walk Through In A Forest Midst of The City
You read that right! Taman Eko Rimba Kuala Lumpur, also known as KL Forest Eco Park in English, is located in Hutan Simpan Bukit Nanas, one of the oldest forests in Malaysia. Whether you're a local or an outsider, you know this is a must-visit!
Shop ‘Til You Drop At Petaling Street

The street food vendors that set up here at night are particularly popular. The street is also well known for its counterfeit goods that are priced dirt-cheap.

Dataran Merdeka, also known as Merdeka Square, is without a doubt KL's most well-known landmark. It is located in front of the Sultan Abdul Samad Building and is also known as Dataran Merdeka (the former State Secretariat). Night Life
Changkat, Bukit Bintang
Hosting heaps of themed nights, talented DJs, and live band shows, it's safe to say that Changkat Bukit Bintang's nightlife is anything but boring. Among the many watering holes available here, there are a few establishments that stand out because of their unique concepts. Stand-up comedy, international film screenings and open mic nights are just some of the activities you can find in this area.
Bangsar
Bangsar and Mid Valley play hosts to a number of trendy resto-bars, pubs, and cocktail lounges. Most of these nightlife hotspots are concentrated around Jalan Telawi in Bangsar Baru and are within walking distances from each other. A 10- minute drive from KL city centre, the area is always bustling with late-night revellers every Friday until Sunday.
Ampang
It goes without saying that the nightlife in Ampang is diverse; rooftop bars are ideal for those who choose to sit back and enjoy a glass of wine while enjoying a breathtaking view of KL's glittering skyline, while late-night enthusiasts should head to one of the city's largest nightclubs to mingle with fashion-forward locals and dance the night away to heart-wrenching electronic dance music.
Petaling Street
Petaling Street is a league of its own.
