Jingju Magic: Love & Bewilderment

The GuoGuang Opera Company will premiere "Jingju Magic – Love & Bewilderment" in Malaysia, featuring “Zhuangzi Tests His Wife,” “Lu Wenlong,” “The Death of Zhou Yu,” and “Guiying’s Accusation of Wang Kuei at the Temple” at klpac’s Pentas 1 in July 2024. Returning to Kuala Lumpur after nine years, the Taiwanese troupe will showcase the enchanting stories and techniques of Jingju (Peking opera) with a cast of 29 actors and musicians. Performances will be in Mandarin with English and Mandarin surtitles, supported by various cultural organizations and sponsors.
