Nasi Lemak is fragrant rice traditionally cooked in coconut milk and screwpine (pandan) leaves served with spicy sambal, cucumbers, fried anchovies, egg and fried groundnuts. It is best paired with a glass of piping hot teh tarik. Most shops or stalls will have other choices of add-ons such as chicken or beef rendang, fried chicken, prawn sambal and many more.
