This quaint but glorious looking Hokkien temple is a century-old Chinese temple, making it one of the earliest ones in Kuala Lumpur. The temple is named after Guan Yin, the Goddess of Mercy which is one of the most popular deities worshipped by local Buddhists. Inside, there is a statue of Guan Yin which depicts in a thousand-armed and thousand-eyed manifestation, representing her omniscience. Guan Yin is only one of the few Hokkien temples around sporting the typical but beautiful curved roof- an iconic design for such temples.
