Bukit Bintang

Bukit Bintang

If you want to be in the centre of all the amazing shopping, dining and entertainment Kuala Lumpur has to deliver, the Bukit Bintang area is the place to stay! You're close to everything here, like modern shopping malls, movie theatres, restaurants and lively nightlife. Bukit Bintang has it all, whether you want to eat at fancy upscale restaurants or cheap street food hawkers.

Kuala Lumpur City Center – KLCC

The most popular area to stay in Kuala Lumpur is the Kuala Lumpur City Center, or KLCC for short, next to Bukit Bintang. KLCC is where the famous and impressive Petronas Twin Towers, the world's tallest twin towers, is located. Many of the hotels in that area have views of the twin towers. If you are looking for top-end luxury hotels, high-end restaurants and a more sophisticated nightlife than Bukit Bintang, KLCC is a great area to stay in. There is an entire cluster of upscale shopping malls here, the crown jewel being the Suria KLCC mall at the base of the towers.

Bangsar South

Bangsar South

If you prefer to stay a little outside of KL's busy and hectic downtown then Bangsar South might be just what you're looking for. Bangsar South is a quiet, upscale residential area at the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur, with modern highrise buildings. Lately, staying in it has become a trendy area, with plenty of top-notch restaurants, malls and large and posh supermarkets.

Chinatown (Petaling Street)

Chinatown at Petaling Street offers plenty of budget and backpacker style accommodation options, making it a great place to meet and mingle with other travellers. Chinatown also has some of the best street food spots in the city which are often open day and night. The narrow streets, old Chinese buildings, beautiful temples and the hustle and bustle make Chinatown a fascinating place to stay.

Brickfields is one of the best places you could stay when you're in KL. KL Sentral, the transportation hub is situated in the heart of KL. Apart from transportation, Brickfields also has many good places where you can sample some of Malaysia's local food.
